LOOKING FOR TESTERS! 👀

HELP!  Looking for Word Search Enthusiasts to test my new word search puzzles. I added a few new puzzle shapes to my GeoWordBlox group and seek testers for feedback.

I need feedback on:

1. The number of words in the puzzle -- too many, too few, just right?

2. The number of geometric shapes -- too many, too few, just right?

3. Do the shapes make sense when searching for them in the letter grid?

4. What difficulty level would you give the puzzle?

That's all I can think of at the moment. These puzzles are not for the faint of heart. They are more challenging than the average word search puzzle. Really. Distractions, Distractions, Distractions

Did I mention I've been distracted the past couple weeks?? Yeah, I need to watch out for those darn distractions. Wooh. 

Anyways, can't remember if I mentioned I found new software to help the puzzle-making process run much smoother. Very excited about that, especially for this current book. Also have been using AI to help with the words, so this book "should" (operative word) materialize faster. One day at a time, right?

Rusty & Bay of Rusty Bay Publications

 

Rusty...my trusty, very fluffy, 8yo sidekick and my sweet little BayBay...who crossed the rainbow bridge March, 2021. She was 20yo.

 

Puppy Duty!

My furry niece (4 months old) was the center of my attention for the past 10 days. Little cutie pie. SOOO much energy. LOL I managed to retain all of my hair (only found a few more gray) when mom came to pick her up.

So, it's back to work, right? NOPE. Now the car insurance has my full attention. When a person is retired and on a set budget, a $400 increase to the annual auto insurance premium (topping out at $1588) is just a bit ridiculous. And when I called the insurance to find out WHY the huge jump up, I was told it wasn't anything to do with me (no tickets or claims here, just sayin), but it has to do with State mandates. To that I say... "\/\/" or 🙅🏻‍♀️ or 🤦🏻‍♀️ or 👎🏻.

ANYways, I'll get back to creating puzzles eventually. Just thought I'd share a few fun facts with you. 😁

Book 3 is Underway!!

It's actually happening! I've actually started creating the puzzles for my third book.  SO EXCITING! This is the working cover design so far. It's a pic of my computer screen, so please forgive the quality.

The formatting for this one will be traditional with the search words listed below the grid, but very UNtraditional in that all of the search patterns will be GeoWordBlox™ shapes of squares, triangles, rectangles, diamonds and 90° angles. My goal is to make this challenging and different for even the veteran word searcher.

In addition to Book 3, I updated the website with a few pictures of Book 2. I want to add Rusty's and Bay's pics, but not sure where just yet. 

Finished a video, my first, that I'll be uploading to Tiktok, eventually. I'm not sure how to approach it. Guess just dive right in, huh? I would like to get a few more vids created so I can upload three times a week. That's a lot of videos. Based on my research, consistency is key, so this should be interesting. Not that I can't make the commitment, but the commitment is to social media. I'm not a fan, but it's a necessity these days. Sigh. Oh well.
